Air — the sound
Cheth is vibrated as Ch (i). The sound is sustained on the breath until the body carries the frequency by itself.
Fire — chakra & colour
Cheth lights the sacral chakra in violet. The colour grows brighter the longer the letter is vibrated.
Water — the sensation
The felt quality of Cheth is cold — the temperature and weight the letter leaves in the body.
Earth — the consciousness
Cheth carries the consciousness of Feelings of the vision of the machinery of the universe / Cancer.
Cheth on the Tree of Life
The path of Ch (i) runs between Power (5) and Understanding (3).
It walks the path between Geburah (Power / Strength) and Binah (Understanding). The chakra gives the letter its place in the body; the Tree gives it its place in the cosmos.
