The felt quality of Zayin is light — the temperature and weight the letter leaves in the body.
Earth — the consciousness
Zayin carries the consciousness of Energy / thoughts of the vision of splendour / Gemini.

The path of Z(a) is from Harmony (6) to Understanding (3).
It walks the path between Tiphereth (Harmony / Beauty) and Binah (Understanding). The chakra gives the letter its place in the body; the Tree gives it its place in the cosmos.
